Skills and Requirements Work Location This is a hybrid role requiring physical presence at the clients Toronto office at least four days per week. Location: Toronto, ON On-site requirements are subject to change based on business needs. Technical Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations or system administration, with a strong focus on enterprise content management and infrastructure support At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting IBM FileNet in production environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning Proficient in managing FileNet P8 components, including:   Content Engine: Administering repositories, managing object stores, and ensuring data integrity   Process Engine: Designing and maintaining workflow solutions, optimizing business process automation   Content Navigator: Customizing user interfaces, integrating with other systems, and managing user access Experience with:   WebSphere Application Server: Deploying and managing enterprise applications, configuring JVMs, and troubleshooting server performance   Unix/Linux operating systems: Shell scripting, system monitoring, patching, and security hardening   Oracle databases: Writing and optimizing SQL queries, managing schemas, and supporting FileNet database dependencies Strong understanding of:   System and application performance tuning: Identifying bottlenecks, optimizing resource usage, and ensuring stability   High availability configurations: Implementing clustering, load balancing, and failover strategies to ensure continuous service   Disaster recovery strategies: Designing backup and recovery plans, conducting DR drills, and maintaining documentation Practical experience with tools such as:   FDM (FileNet Deployment Manager): Migrating assets between environments and managing deployment packages   BatchIt: Automating batch processing tasks and integrating with ingestion workflows   ICC (IBM Content Collector): Configuring data capture from email, file systems, and other sources   FileNet Administration Console (ACCE): Managing security, workflows, and system configurations Integration & Troubleshooting Working knowledge of integration points and APIs, especially for:   Ingestion workflows: Designing and maintaining automated document ingestion from various sources   Downstream processing: Ensuring smooth handoff to analytics, reporting, or archival systems Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and incident management capabilities, including root cause analysis and resolution documentation Communication & Collaboration Strong communication skills for effective interaction with:   Cross-functional teams: Collaborating with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to support system needs   Business users: Translating technical issues into business terms and providing user support   External vendors: Coordinating with third-party providers for support, upgrades, and integration null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
