About the Job PAR Electric is seeking a cloud-focused System Administrator with strong scripting and automation experience to support and enhance our Microsoft-centric IT environment. This role emphasizesAzure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, and device management, rather than traditional on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and experienced in automating processes, improving service delivery, and supporting a distributed workforce across both corporate and field operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient IT services that support PAR Electric’s operational needs. What You'll Do What You Will Do Microsoft Cloud & Identity + Administer Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID (Azure AD). + Manage identity lifecycle processes, access controls, Conditional Access policies, and licensing. Automation & Scripting + Develop, maintain, and enhance PowerShell scripts to automate operational and administrative tasks. + Build tools, dashboards, and workflows using PowerShell Universal to improve efficiency and visibility. Endpoint Management + Manage Windows devices using Intune and Windows Autopilot. + Oversee device provisioning, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployments, and updates. + Monitor and improve endpoint health, security baselines, and user experience. Service Desk Platform Administration + Administer ServiceDesk Plus MSP, including workflows, automations, SLAs, templates, and system integrations. + Partner with the Service Desk team to improve efficiency, consistency, and customer experience. Support & Collaboration + Serve as Tier II / Tier III escalation support for complex technical issues. + Collaborate with IT leadership, internal teams, and external vendors on projects and system improvements. + Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and IT asset records. Cybersecurity + Enforce identity protection, MFA, device compliance, and data security controls. + Support organizational cybersecurity initiatives and compliance requirements. What You'll Bring What You Will Bring Required Qualifications + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. + 3+ years of experience in a System Administrator or Cloud Administrator role. + Strong hands-on experience with: + Azure + Entra ID / Azure Active Directory + Microsoft 365 administration + PowerShell scripting + Intune and Windows Autopilot + Experience supporting distributed users in both office and field environments. + Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. + Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with PowerShell Universal. + Experience administering ServiceDesk Plus MSP. + Familiarity with construction, utility, or industrial work environments. + Working knowledge of Azure services such as Storage, Virtual Networks (VNETs), and Conditional Access. + Microsoft and/or CompTIA certifications. Physical & Work Environment Requirements + Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs of IT equipment. + Occasional travel to offices or job sites. + Occasional after-hours or on-call support as required.
