**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking an on-site **System Administrator** to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system.Accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work well independently and with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate. This position is full-time on-site at Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This position will be responsible forsupporting the customer s digital engineering environment as the primary System Administrator for a classified network. In this role you will support a Microsoft Active Directory environment with day-to-day administration and analysis of Account Provisioning on aclassified network. Key responsibilities are to: + On-board and off-board users, including Active Directory, Email, and core applications + Support a classified digital engineering environment with the day-to-day support of classified servers, terminals, printers, and networking infrastructure + Provide tier I/II support for a classified digital engineering environment and investigate and troubleshoot issues through to resolution. + Patch operating systems and applications + Monitor and analyze environment health and provide incident response and resolution support + Assist in the development, testing, modification, and administration of virtualized server environments and related applications/systems as needed, including VM provisioning, clustering, and Patch Management + Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions. + Provide customer service by answering phones and responding to emails. + Travel to off-site locations is required. **and the U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)** Our organization has supported the U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) continually since the program s inception in the 1950s. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
