Key Responsibilities: + Manage cloud-based information systems, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and security + Harden information systems against NIST, DoD, and IC security requirements to include the NIST 800-53 and 800-171 controls, and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively + Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and ensure they meet scalability, reliability, and security requirements + Manage and automate routine administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. + Stay up-to-date with and implement the latest industry technologies, trends, and best practices + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of new and existing systems and applications + Lead or attend meetings with system stakeholders to discuss statuses of efforts Work Environment: + Location: Colorado Springs, CO – 100% Onsite + Travel Requirements: Minimal + Working Hours: Standard Qualifications: Required: + Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain + Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer, information systems or related field + DoD 8570-compliant IAT Level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+) + Experience with cloud service providers (CSPs) (e.g. AWS, Azure) + Git/GitLab experience + Experience with programming (scripting) languages (i.e. Bash, Python, .Net or Java) + Apache open-source products (i.e. NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper) + Security+ + Experience with Virtual Machines and Type 1 hypervisors, e.g. KVM, ESXi + Demonstrated experience with Linux (e.g. Red Hat Enterprise Linux) + Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Puppet, and Ansible + Experience in implementing DISA STIGs and SRGs + Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired: + Linux System Administrator + DevSecOps + Risk Management Framework implementation + Software development experience (i.e. C++, Java, C) Basic Compensation: $94,800 - $142,100 (For the Colorado Springs Area Only)The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
