Sysco Brand Manager
**JOB SUMMARY** Responsible for growing profitable Value Added, wholesale and PRDC business dedicated to existing Sysco customers. This person is responsible for establishing active relationships with the Sales and Merchandising teams at each Sysco Opco in an effort to grow their Produce category and in turn the sales of FreshPoint Value Added departments and Distribution. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Support for food shows, MA Ride alongs, MA training, promotions, contracts, promotional sales contests, and cuttings + Develop all of the marketing, promotional and training materials necessary to be effective in all areas + Travel to operation company (OpCo) to be 50%-75% of time + Give direction to and manage Sysco specialist to handle all Sysco orders and needs: including accurate keying of orders, managing all cross needs and billing, handling all buyouts needs for Syscos and any daily issues that arise + Handle CMP, 30,60,90 day reviews + Handling all corporate reporting requests both scheduled and those that come up during each month + Maintain working relationships with all departments in your operation company (OpCo) to facilitate complete, on time, accurate loading of all outbound Sysco trucks including Cross dock items + Develop and maintain great working relationships with all Produce Managers, Produce Specialists, Sale Leadership and Merchandising Teams at each Sysco operation company (OpCo) servicing + Develop and maintain great working relationships with the Sysco PMD, FreshPoint Regional VP PRDCs, and Corporate Produce Procurement Team **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** College Degree or Work Experience Equivalent **Experience** 2 years of sales or operational distribution experience preferred. **Skills** + Experience with MS Office, strong numeric and alphanumeric data entry skills, detail-oriented, good communication skills (both verbal and written) + Working knowledge and understanding of distribution and warehousing procedures preferred + Proven ability to complete training material and deliver training to large groups **Decision Making Authority** Most important decisions made fully independently: + Pricing on buyouts, weekly pricing on any distribution items + Coaching for team members + Solutions for miss-ships costing under $500 each + Credits under $50 Most important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required): + Solutions for miss-ships costing over $500 + Seasonal Contracts for items for each Sysco OPCO + Credits over $500 AFFIRMATIVE ACTION STATEMENT: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
