ASE is looking for a Synchronization Staff Officer (SSO) to work in Fort Belvoir, VA with additional support at Pentagon and Fort Bragg, NC. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! **Objectives:** + Provide intelligence training, logistics, sustainment, programing, budgeting, procurement, delivery, receipt at unit level, divestment, security, and PED SME support services at the Army Reserve HQ + Assist the OCAR G-2, G-4, and SED with total integrated solutions for a multitude of professional service-based requirements **Responsibilities** + Specialized planner and integrator who ensures that the Army’s force development efforts are aligned across multiple domains—capabilities, funding, acquisition, and operational needs. + Translate operational needs into actionable capability development plans for the Force Development Command (FDC). + Connect various long-term modernization goals with near-term execution realities. + Force Development Command (FDC) programs requiring support may include: Communications Security (COMSEC) Modernization, network transport, Satellite Database Operations, Common Operating Environment (COE) and integration, Integrated Personnel and Pay system (IPPS-A), Home Station Mission Command Centers (HSMCC), Cyber Operations, Global Force Information Management, Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS), Power Generation and Environmental Controls, Home Station Mission Command Centers (HSMCC), Cyber Operations, Global Force Information Management, Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS), Power Generation and Environmental Controls, SATCOM, and Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP). **Qualifications** + Active SECRET security clearance. + Bachelor’s degree in a Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Administration, Public Administration, Military or Strategic Studies, Systems Engineering, Management Science, or National Security Studies. + 10 years of operational experience in Army tactical units that employ Battle Command Transport Applications including Satellite Network Operations, Battle Command Network Applications, Defense Business Systems, and Battle Command Service Applications. + Strong understanding of tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) associated with Army command, control, and communications systems and expertise to FDC specific program to be supported. + Proven analytical, problem solving and teambuilding skills. + Superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. **Job ID** 2025-18735 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Akima Systems Engineering (ASE), an Akima company, is not just another federal systems support contractor.
