Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator to join their team. As a Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator, you will be part of the Screw Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator - 3rd Shift
**Location:** Hamilton, OH
**Pay Rate:** $25.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up and operate swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines.
+ Perform tooling changes and adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
+ Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines.
+ Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance activities as needed.
+ Maintain general housekeeping of the work area.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 1-year prior swiss setup or lathe setup experience or relevant education.
+ High school diploma or GED preferred.
+ Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums, and machine drawings.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift over 30 pounds.
