Join a small but advanced manufacturing team making high-precision components for the Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, Military, and Firearms industries.
We're looking for an experienced Swiss Lathe Programmer to develop and optimize CNC programs, improve manufacturing efficiency, and contribute to quality-driven production.

Consistent schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:

Program and optimize CNC Swiss-type lathes (Citizen preferred), mills, and turning lathes

Create and maintain programming documentation and standard procedures

Collaborate with engineers to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times

Troubleshoot code and production issues; implement long-term solutions

Ensure consistent quality and compliance with ISO and customer requirements

Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Train and guide junior team members in Swiss machining techniques

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills:
Background in Medical, Aerospace, or Defense manufacturing

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

Experience with micro-machining and tool life optimization

ISO 9001 quality system familiarity

Automation/robotic cell integration exposure

Project management experience in a machine shop setting

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Hands-on CNC programming and operation experience

G-code, M-code, and conversational programming proficiency

Experience with Fanuc and Citizen control systems

Strong understanding of GD&T and precision measurement tools

Ability to optimize tool paths and machining strategies

Experience in high-tolerance manufacturing environments

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM)

Team-oriented with solid communication and problem-solving skills
