Job details The Engineering Manager will be responsible for the daily execution and strategic leadership of the Swiss Engineering department, ensuring seamless support for B3 Operations and Quality in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
Departmental Leadership: Oversee the daily execution of the Swiss Engineering department, including the assignment of Setup Requests and Engineering Requests (ERs). ...
Operational Integration: Lead daily synchronization with production teams to ensure engineering support meets high-volume manufacturing demands.

Administrative Oversight: Review and approve labor edits, manage departmental purchase requests, and oversee annual performance reviews and succession planning.

Quality & Problem Solving: Serve as a direct resource for Operations and Quality teams to resolve real-time challenges, including scrap reduction and process optimization.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively evaluate and implement new CAM software and Swiss machining equipment to maintain technical superiority.

Talent Development: Mentor and train engineering staff to foster technical competence and department growth.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 13485 or similar quality management systems common in medical manufacturing.

Advanced Systems: Experience in evaluating and implementing enterprise-level CAM software and cutting-edge Swiss equipment.

Business Support: Experience assisting with the quoting process for new business opportunities.

Education:
Bachelors

Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Strong background in Swiss machining and precision manufacturing, ideally within a medical device or high-precision components setting.

Leadership: Demonstrated experience in a management or supervisory role leading technical or engineering professionals.

Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex machining and process challenges with a focus on zero-defect quality standards.

Education: 4-year degree (B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field).

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for daily coordination across cross-functional departments.
