Swing Shift Production Coordinator
Insight Global
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an autonomous, strategic, and highly organized Production Coordinator to join the production team. This individual will support Production Planners to ensure the timely delivery of fabricated materials from the global production system. The Production Coordinator coordinates needs across teams, blends and connects tasks, and solves problems to ensure all production requirements are met in a rapidly evolving environment. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced manufacturing settings, is a self-starter who tackles problems head-on, and maintains organization while providing excellent service to all customers within the test facility. Responsibilities include fulfillment within MRP for production work orders, releasing kit requests to Inventory, supporting prioritization and expediting of subassemblies to meet integration timelines, and clearing blockers such as issue tickets, part shortages, and yield loss that prevent production from completing orders. The Production Coordinator serves as the central point of coordination, maintains inventory coordination, ensures smooth workflow across shifts, and actively engages in team communications through digital and on-site engagement. This role requires taking ownership of tasks, resolving issues independently, working in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals, and performing other duties as assigned by management, relevant to the role. There is a great opportunity for growth in this position. The swing shift for this role is Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with possible one weekend shift per month. The location is 5 days a week on-site at Stennis Space Center.
