**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **The rate of pay for this role is $18.00 per hour and this role will report to a Branch location in Pontiac.** **Job Summary** + The **Sweep Team Crew Member/Laborer** is responsible for executing site-level tasks on BrightView’s client sites. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Keep the premises of BrightView’s clients’ grounds in clean and orderly condition + Demonstrate strong professionalism and integrity while representing BrightView + Light landscaping using a string trimmer and/or backpack blower + Clean and rake shrub areas; shovel mud **when necessary** + Assist maintenance team with snow removal **(as applicable)** + Physically walk the property frequently/as needed and remove litter with trash grabbers + Use a Backpack blower to keep sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush and pick up trash with trash grabbers + Transport trash and waste to the disposal area + **Other Duties as assigned** **Education and Experience:** + At least 18 years old + May require a valid Driver’s License **(preferred but not required)** **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. + Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day + Ability to walk the majority of the workday **Work Environment:** + Work near or about natural bodies of water **(if required)** + **Ability to work in extreme weather conditions – temperatures may range from below freezing to above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and ALL weather conditions** + Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time + Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic **(if required)** **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
