Position: Trading Services Analyst
As a Trading Services Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the front office and client-facing stakeholders within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of trading activities and maintaining the integrity of trade processes. Your position will require you to act as a central point of contact and liaison between the business, technology teams, control partners, and operations, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office Support: Serve as a primary resource for front office teams, providing real-time assistance and resolving issues related to trade execution, booking, and settlement. Stakeholder representative: Act as the bridge between business units, technology, control partners, and operations, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of inquiries and escalations. Trade Investigation: Investigate and resolve trade-related inquiries, discrepancies, and exceptions, utilizing analytical skills and a thorough understanding of trading platforms and systems. Trade Monitoring: Monitor trade execution flows across various asset classes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of trade bookings, and proactively identifying and addressing potential issues. Trade Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and balances, working closely with operations and technology teams to resolve breaks and discrepancies. Platform Expertise: Develop and maintain a fundamental understanding of J.P. Morgan’s trading platforms, systems, and processes, enabling you to troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to stakeholders. Risk Management: Support risk management activities by identifying operational risks, escalating issues appropriately, and contributing to the development of controls and process improvements. Client Communication: Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to internal and external clients, delivering solutions in person, by phone, and by email in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and implement best practices across trading services. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trade investigations, reconciliations, and resolutions, and prepare reports for management and regulatory purposes as required. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk, technology, and operations, to ensure the highest standards of service and operational excellence.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with trading platforms and financial systems is preferred. Knowledge of financial markets, products, and trade lifecycle is an advantage.
