As a part-time employee we will offer competitive compensation, inclusion in the BD Incentive Compensation Plan, and limited benefits package including 401K and 11 paid holidays. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Support all phases of the Business Development Lifecycle including prospecting, qualifying, capturing, and successful proposal development for Federal Government opportunities + Identify new opportunities for Federal Government contracts matching KGS’s Strategic Pillars + Identify opportunities with state and local government + Identify opportunities in key customer, capability, and geographic areas including those outlined in KGS’s Strategic Pillars, in particular Artificial Intelligence + Support the KGS SBIR proposal and maturation process + Work across all of KGS to collaborate and build connections including with key customers listed in Strategic Pillars + Be responsible for closing new business opportunities for KGS + Set up meetings and capability briefings with potential customers + Track, monitor, and prepare for opportunities to be released in systems like GovWin, GovTribe **Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + Minimum of thirty (30) years of total experience in IT-related positions within the Federal Government + Demonstrated track record of Business Development and Contracting successes within the Federal Government + Candidates must be a US Citizen + Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills + Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word PowerPoint and Excel **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
