Job Summary

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply help system. This system meets the needs of the facility's specialty area. The coordinator serves as a departmental liaison for SCS with key departments.

Essential Functions of the RoleBuilds and maintains par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital. Confirms accurate receiving of products for specific departments. Verifies hospital deliveries and delivers to the appropriate department.Provides resource help for expense reduction opportunities. Documents monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions.Maintains records like requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, and implant pricing. Ensures accurate tracking of supply data, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers.Processes department-specific supply and implant requisitions. Confirms accuracy of requisitions. Monitors delivery date expectations. Works with department staff to ensure implant information accuracy.Helps maintain inventory by reducing it while keeping enough supplies for stores and special orders.Performs regular checks of expiration dates. Handles removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and SCS Director.Key Success Factors2 years of college education preferred.Basic communication skills.Experience in related job.Belonging Statement
