Our client, a leading organization in hardware manufacturing and technology infrastructure, is seeking a Sustaining Operations Project Manager - Menlo Park, CA to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting hardware qualification and change management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sustaining Operations Project Manager - Menlo Park, CA
**Location:** Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid)
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead hardware change management efforts across compute and storage programs, ensuring seamless integration of updates and respins into mass production.
+ Manage qualification schedules and readiness milestones across cross-functional teams, including engineering, validation, sourcing, and manufacturing.
+ Coordinate alignment between teams to facilitate qualification, production intercepts, and change execution for sustaining hardware modifications.
+ Drive readiness for New Commodity Introduction (NCI) programs such as HDD/SSD qualifications and optical/PON roadmap updates.
+ Develop and maintain detailed trackers, risk assessments, and status reports to monitor progress and mitigate potential issues.
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 5 years of program or project management experience in hardware, sustaining operations, or manufacturing environments.
+ Deep understanding of hardware qualification processes, including xVT readiness and change control procedures.
+ Proven experience managing continuous change programs across multiple product lines.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on risk management and attention to detail.
