Sustainability Specialist

Our client—a world-renowned innovator in architecture and workplace design—is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to help global enterprises achieve their Net Zero and sustainability ambitions. As a Sustainability Specialist, you’ll work alongside a dynamic global team to support the visioning, planning, and implementation of sustainability and decarbonization programs for clients—from individual office projects to large-scale real estate portfolios. You’ll also play a vital role in shaping internal sustainability practices and educating our teams on industry-leading strategies.

Supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking team What You Will Be Doing:

Support North American and global sustainability teams across a variety of workplace and building projects.

Assist in the development of client sustainability roadmaps, including emissions reduction, Net Zero strategies, and SBTi target setting.

Collaborate closely with architecture, design, strategy, engineering, and delivery teams to create high-performance sustainable spaces.

Contribute to the pursuit and documentation of sustainability certifications such as LEED and WELL.

Monitor trends and changes in North American sustainability standards and reporting.

Help train internal teams on sustainability best practices, with a focus on carbon management and environmental performance.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, architecture, interior design, construction management, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.

2 years+ of experience working on sustainability consulting or green building projects.

Familiarity with sustainability certifications, carbon accounting, and life cycle assessment is a plus.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Collaborative and adaptable team player who can also take initiative and work independently.

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
