Job DescriptionAs Manager within the Global Sustainability Solutions team, you will support the development and delivery of value propositions for merchants and acceptance partners that embed sustainability into the commerce and payment experience. In this role, you will focus on use cases in the space of Electric Vehicle payment journeys, Recommerce / reverse vending payouts and data analytics to improve acquisition, loyalty and retention.
You will work at the intersection of product innovation, client engagement, and sustainability strategy—helping shape data and payment solutions that enable more sustainable choices for consumers.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong consulting or strategy background, with previous experience or knowledge of the payments space. You will bring curiosity, collaborative spirit, detail-oriented mindset to a fast-evolving space with global impact.
What You Will Do
Support the design and evolution of sustainability propositions for merchants and acquirers, including research, benchmarking, and business case developmentAnalyse market trends, client feedback, and regulatory developments to inform product strategy and positioningCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, sustainability) to shape and scale solutionsPrepare client-facing materials, internal briefings, and executive updatesContribute to the planning and execution of pilot programmes and go-to-market strategiesTrack and report on key metrics to assess impact and inform continuous improvement

Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in management / strategy / sustainability consulting, strategy or payments spaceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear insightsProven track record of contributing or developing go-to-market and product strategiesProven track record of owning workstreams and rallying cross-functional teams towards a shared objectiveProven track record in building business cases for complex, multi-party use cases (merchant-acquirer-issuer-payment network)Proficiency in usage of standard Microsoft toolbox (ppt, excel, word) and GenAIExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentPassion for sustainability and a strong interest in driving positive environmental and social impact through commerceConsulting experience with exposure to sustainability or financial servicesFamiliarity with ESG frameworks, sustainable finance, or climate-related disclosuresExperience working with or for merchants, acquirers, or fintechsFluency in Spanish, German or French is a plus.Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
