Sustainability Regulations Business Support Manager
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to oversee and manage GSC Compliance sustainability regulations business support team. This role involves providing day-to-day 1st level support to factories, markets, and various JTI global functions, while proactively monitoring the performance of EUDR processes. Additionally, it includes ensuring efficient communication flow among all JTI global functions and locations affected by EUDR legislation.
Responsibilities:
•Manage sustainability regulations business support team working closely with IT organization and other GSC Compliance projects pillars to ensure seamless and efficient support provided. •Continuously monitor and review the current support model to prepare regular reporting to key stakeholders and to proactively initiate and participate in improvement programs coordinating mainly with IT function (as well as other JTI functions) and external supplier (where applicable). •Proactively perform monitoring of adherence to EUDR regulations. •Initiate corrective actions with respective markets / factories and escalate to management (when applicable). •Coordinate communication with markets / factories (documentation updates, technical and operational guidelines/instructions updates, system/tech developments, etc.). •Manage sustainability regulations business support team (maintain “healthy” team environment with open and constructive dialogue).Requirements:
•University degree ideally in Industrial Engineering or Business management. •Min. 5 years of experience in FMCG/multi-national corporate environment, customer service or support organization management (processes support is preferable) is desirable. •Fluent in oral and written English. •Excellent communication and people management skills. •Capability to accept and utilize constructive feedback (criticism) from the customers. •Process and Project management experience. •Understanding of procurement related cross-functional processes. •Ability to work with legislation requirements and translate them to actionable project management steps.
