Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and analytical Sustainability Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will lead our sustainability efforts, develop and implement strategies to reduce our environmental impact, and drive sustainable business practices across the company.

Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030Lead and manage sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource conservation programsConduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvementCreate and maintain environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulations and standardsPrepare sustainability reports using recognized frameworks such as GRI or SASBCollaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operationsAnalyze data and metrics to track progress and report on sustainability performanceEngage with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and community partners, to promote sustainability awareness and initiativesStay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainabilityRepresent the organization at industry events and conferences related to sustainability

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred5+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related fieldProven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategiesStrong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and sustainable business practicesProficiency in environmental management systems and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB)Excellent data analysis and interpretation skillsStrong project management abilitiesOutstanding communication and presentation skillsFamiliarity with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and national sustainability goalsProfessional certifications such as LEED AP or CSR-P are a plusAbility to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change within an organization
