As an authority in the Sustainability data space, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering data products that enable strategic decisions across the global sustainability team and align with broader Global Business Services organization. You will work closely with global teams, including sustainability, procurement, supply chain, IT and data governance, and other business partners to deliver business-critical data-driven solutions for environmental sustainability, supplier responsibility, and ESG and Product compliance.
What will you do?
Partner with director-level sustainability leaders, team members, data consumers, and external parties to translate sustainability strategies into data driven solutions.Lead change management and adoption of data and analytics solutions within the organizationValidate that investments and use cases deliver expected valueDevelop and maintain a detailed product backlog, ensuring that it is well-organized, prioritized, and aligned with the overall sustainability and global business services business strategy.Collaborate with sustainability colleagues, data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to design, develop, and deploy data products.Act as the primary point of contact between internal partners and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product requirements and priorities.Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions and sprint planning meetings to ensure that product development efforts are focused on delivering high-value features.Apply quantitative insights to monitor and analyze product performance, ensuring that the value delivered aligns with the business goals, and use this information to inform near term product improvements and longer-term product roadmap.Ensure that data products align with relevant data privacy and security regulations.Provide regular updates to customers on product progress, performance, and future plans.Anticipate emerging trends and optimal practices in data product management, data analytics, and sustainability.Develop a council for data analytics within and across the sustainability function to set a roadmap for new data requests and share standard methodologies on data analytics and visualization.Collaborate with other Global Business Services’ peers to prioritize and implement data quality efforts that align with sustainability needs.How will you get here?
Education and Experience
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in business, IT, finance, Data Science, Engineering or Supply ChainMinimum 10 years of experience the Data Analytics or technology spaceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities
Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a data-driven environment within sustainability, operations, procurement or supply chain management is required.Skilled in data analytics, data engineering, and data science concepts, including advance use of PowerBIFamiliarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems across the value chain, including master data, and transactional data. Ideal candidate will have experience translating business data into sustainability insightsStrong collaboration and interpersonal relations with the ability to effectively implement with cross-functional teams, partners, and senior leadership.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira.Experience mentoring and delegating is highly desirable.Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, is a plus.Ability to lead multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Ability to efficiently organize forums and coordinate communication.Excellent interpersonal skills for structuring ideas in a clear and concise manner with technical and functional partners at various levels of the organizationAbility to influence without direct management and lead change across the functionBenefits:
