Job Title: Sustainability Analyst
Job Description

The Sustainability Analyst supports compliance requirements for new products and ensures ongoing compliance throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with product development teams to ensure products meet all relevant compliance and certification standards. The analyst proactively integrates safety and compliance requirements into product specifications and development processes, ensuring adherence to environmental standards and sustainability initiatives across engineering, purchasing, and product development.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure adherence to environmental standards and sustainability initiatives.Collaborate with product development teams to ensure compliance and certification standards are met.Integrate safety and compliance requirements into product specifications and development processes.Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding environmental compliance, product regulations, and sustainability requests.Interface with certification agencies, competent bodies, and test labs to drive safety and compliance testing.Assist in gathering and organizing product compliance data from suppliers.Represent the organization during onsite inspections and internal audits, coordinating corrective actions.Collect product lifecycle data through CAD analysis, bench measurements, and SME consultation.Prepare Product Environmental Profiles (PEPs) using Excel and Life Cycle Analysis software.Execute PEPs in collaboration with certification agencies via Ecopassport.Maintain data and documentation for PEP development.Develop and document best practice procedures for PEP completion.Support customer queries related to product sustainability, including LEED and BOMCheck tools.Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with electronic assemblies.PLM/BOM management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications0-3 years of relevant experience.Associate’s degree in Engineering.Work Environment

The work environment involves interfacing with certification agencies, competent bodies, and test labs. The role requires maintaining data and documentation for PEP development and collaborating with various stakeholders. The position supports customer queries related to product sustainability using tools such as LEED and BOMCheck. The analyst is expected to represent the organization during onsite inspections and internal audits, coordinating corrective actions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
