Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Surveyor to join our infrastructure construction supervision team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and reliable surveys for roads, tunnels, utilities, and bridges, ensuring the successful execution of construction works in compliance with design documents, specifications, and standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:Perform topographical and boundary surveys for infrastructure works including roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities, and associated civil works.
Set out alignments, levels, and reference points on site for construction activities.
Conduct as-built surveys and update records with final construction data.
Verify accuracy of contractor survey data and ensure compliance with design specifications and tolerances.
Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, engineers, and contractors to resolve survey-related issues.
Assist in preparing and maintaining survey reports, drawings, and records.
Provide technical support to the team and ensure all survey equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Ensure all surveying activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in land surveying or construction surveying, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in using total stations, GPS systems, and other modern surveying equipment.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, alignment plans, and survey methods.
Ability to prepare and interpret survey reports and as-built drawings.
Good communication and reporting skills in English.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
Familiarity with survey software (e.g., AutoCAD, Leica, Trimble, etc.).
Knowledge of local surveying regulations and standards.
