Job Title: Survey Specialist
Job Description

The Survey Specialist will be responsible for quality control and assurance of surveying and mapping products. This role involves processing survey field data using Carlson software and other company-specific tools for various types of surveys, including boundary, topographic, volumetric, and hydrographic surveys.

ResponsibilitiesProcess survey field data using Carlson software and company-specific tools for boundary, topo, volumetric, and hydrographic surveys.Perform mapping tasks using PLS-CADD as required to complete projects.Provide first-line support to Land Engineering field survey and office mapping staff.Review external mapping deliverables and communicate with contractors effectively.Update procedure documentation for Land Engineering processes as needed.Provide training to Land Engineering production staff to ensure accurate, efficient, and complete data acquisition and mapping.Track project status and provide timely updates to progress schedules.Ensure timely delivery of surveying and mapping products to clients.Essential SkillsComprehensive knowledge of land and construction surveying concepts and techniques.Ability to interpret surveying and property documents and drawings.Understanding of property research needs to support field surveying.Knowledge of survey coordinate datums and projection systems.Proficiency with Carlson data collection software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcView, and PLS-CADD.Understanding of CADD Mapping, GIS, and GPS for land surveying.Work Environment

The role requires working 4 days per week in an office setting. The position is designed to support the Land Engineering field survey and office mapping team in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
