Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities

Oversee multiple projects, ensuring effective communication with clients, staff, and field crews.Coordinate with public and private clients and contractors to deliver services timely and efficiently.Establish priorities and schedules for projects, field crews, staff, and clients.Provide quality assurance control by checking and reviewing all documents and maps.Interact cooperatively with survey teams and work directly with design engineers to prepare improvement plans.Oversee the completion of ALTA, topographic surveys, and field/office survey work.Draft and review legal descriptions.Supervise the preparation of parcel, record of survey, and right-of-way maps.Prepare lot line adjustments, conduct map and deed research, and prepare map checks.Process field data and staking drawings for field crews and check/prepare cut sheets.

Essential Skills

10+ years of land surveying experience.PLS, LSIT, or CST certifications preferred.Proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.Ability to operate RTK, Static, Base Setup with Trimble R12i/TSC7 or older equipment.Experience in both office and field survey work.Understanding of construction plans and maps.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in Arizona as a party chief.Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GPS technology.Experience with ALTA surveys and land surveying.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
