Join a team of inspired and talented professionals who continually find inventive ways to get the job done better, faster, and smarter. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Performing a variety of surveys and buried facility locating with minimal supervision + Conducting comprehensive topographic, legal, construction, bathymetric and as-built surveys + Actively participate and promote Stantec’s Health & Safety culture and awareness + Effective communication with Project Manager as to progress updates, scope changes, HSSE reporting and other project impacts + Act as a company representative, liaising directly with client field representatives and land owners; + Some office technical survey work may be required in this position + Strong problem solving skills in a field environment;Effective communication skills - verbal and written; ability to produce accurate and legible field notes; + Manage information flow from field to office and prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Experience tracing buried facilities using Electromagnetic Locating techniques + Ability to execute surveys in an accurate, efficient, detailed and safe manner + Proficiency with GPS, Total stations and Electromagnetic Locators.
