You are an experienced survey drafter with a strong background supporting field crews in infrastructure environments. This is an opportunity to contribute to projects where precision and safety are paramount. You’ll be working alongside experienced crews, translating field data into accurate, high-quality drawings that support construction, engineering, and land development initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

Produce drawings and coordinate files for the field workCreate field-level designsVerify incoming job files from the field match design (QA/QC)Maintain compiled drawingsProduce as-built and turnover drawingsPrepare survey deliverables for the clientCreate stakeout files from design drawingsCreate machine filesProduce piling reportsProcess drone dataWork with point clouds and large surfacesAnalyze volumes and create reportsTrack quantities and report weeklies

Qualifications:

Preferential to have completed 2-year diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field Strong technical background in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to produce drawingsProficient with Trimble Access and Trimble Business center Experience with civil construction design builds on the flyMotivated, self-starter who can work well independently or within a team environment Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policiesFamiliarity with City of Edmonton infrastructure standards is a plus
