Job Description
As a Survey CAD Designer, you will work closely with survey field crews to support various commercial, municipal, and private development projects. Utilizing data collected in the field, you will draft detailed plans for surveys such as topographic and boundary surveys. This position is based in our Grand Rapids office and reports directly to the Land Survey Manager.
ResponsibilitiesProduce topographic, boundary, and ALTA Surveys.Create surfaces, alignments, and profiles for grade, utilities, and layout using CAD and Civil 3D.Utilize CAD standards.Collaborate effectively with Survey Project Managers, field and office survey teams, civil engineers, and designers.Essential Skills2+ years of Survey CAD Design experience.2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil3D.Experience in Topography and Boundary Surveys.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with MicroStation.Survey field experience.Experience working with city standards is a plus.Work Environment
The position is based in a modern, on-site office located in Grand Rapids, MI. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with flexibility to extend up to 50 hours during peak periods. The projects involve municipal developments, roads, and K-12 schools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
