Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK. Maintains operation status of all cameras and monitors including multi-plexers, quads, splitters, switchers, CPU alarm interfaces and other related equipmentEstablishes and maintains relationships with outside vendors for the cataloging of all equipment that needs outside servicing and communicationMaintains and programs the operating functions of the surveillance and security system matrix (the physical equipment that controls the interface and operation of the various individual pieces) Cooperates with management in the suggestion, design and installation of all projects (hardware) as required by business needs including but not limited to games, slots, food & beverage, security, investigations and state mandatesKeeps abreast of state gaming rules and regulations and the company’s written System of Internal Controls regarding the performance of the surveillance departmentStays current on industry trends and technological advances that may affect present system, department and company needs BRING US YOUR BEST.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university Three years experience within this technical fieldMust be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)Ability to be contacted after hours or need to be available on an on call status and be able to respond quickly during emergency situationsAbility to communicate effectively, in both verbal and written form, with customers, outside contacts, and all levels of employeesAbility to read and write accurate and factual reports and support documentsAbility to lift, push, and pull cables and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and effectively and efficiently move around work areasMust be able to work with various tools used in the electronic, cctv, computer and electrical/mechanical fields including but limited to working on ladders, lifts and in crawl spaces Knowledge and understanding of electronic, video, and alarm functionsKnowledge and understanding of computers, report writing and document managementExcellent verbal and written skills with the ability to read and write concise and factual reportsUnderstanding of property and department policies and proceduresAbility to maintain strict confidentiality in all facets of work environmentThis knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through the education in technical schools, on the job experience in surveillancePhysically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces STAY IN THE GAME.
