We are currently hiring a High-Profile Security Guard for a well-established retail location in downtown Toronto. This is a hands-off, front-of-house position that requires strong customer service skills, situational awareness, and the confidence to communicate clearly and professionally in a busy retail setting.

This role is ideal for someone who understands visibility, deterrence, and de-escalation — and who takes pride in being alert, engaged, and dependable throughout their shift.

Consistent full-time schedule:

Tuesday to Friday - 09:45 - 19:00

Downtown Toronto location (M5V 2A4)

Your Role

As a High-Profile Security Guard, you will maintain a professional and alert presence at the front entrance while supporting store operations through effective communication and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing a visible security presence to deter theft and misbehaviour Conducting receipt checks in accordance with site policy Issuing verbal trespass warnings when required, following established procedures Communicating clearly with supervisors and staff using on-site radio systems Supporting staff during incidents and managing customer line-ups when necessary Remaining stationed at the entrance throughout the shift and supporting opening and closing procedures De-escalating situations calmly and professionally when customer concerns arise What You Bring Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid security license First aid certification - required

Experience in a retail or customer-facing security environment

Strong communication, customer service, and de-escalation skills

Professional appearance and reliable, punctual work ethic

Ability to remain attentive and engaged for the duration of the shift

Comfort enforcing site policies respectfully and consistently
