Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Summary: Surimi Key positions surimi production. These facilities are equipped with specialized machinery and equipment for processing fish into surimi.
Note: Surimi Key II residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered.

Assists in the preparation and processing of surimi raw materials.Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas to meet hygiene standards.Assists in dismantling, cleaning, and assembling machinery during clean ups in a safe manner.Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product consistency.Reports any equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to senior technicians or supervisors.Handles chemicals in accordance with proper safety clean up procedures during clean ups.Performs quality control checks on the surimi product during production.Operates machines and controls the operating line, blender operator and/or mixer operator. Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety training.Other duties as assigned.Employees working in Alaska are advised to have medical insurance coverage which is valid in the State of Alaska.
