Adecco is seeking a **skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist** for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in **Houston, TX** .
The Surgical Technologist works in collaboration with Registered Nurses to support surgical patient care within the OR suite.
The anticipated wage for this position is between **$ 45 and 49.3/hr** . Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

**Key responsibilities** include preparing instruments and equipment for each surgical procedure, scrubbing in and assisting surgeons during operations, and maintaining a sterile environment. The role also involves assisting with room turnover, instrument decontamination, and contributing to the orientation and training of new surgical technicians. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care principles and will support surgical procedures across various specialties, including Orthopedics (Mako), GYN, ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, and Plastics. This is a PRN position providing staffing coverage for the ASC OR and serving patients across all age groups: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
+ Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
+ Strong knowledge of human anatomy, aseptic techniques, and surgical procedures
+ Ability to work efficiently under pressure
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
+ Demonstrated collaboration with RN teams
+ Experience in a fast-paced OR setting
+ Proven ability to assist with orientation of new staff
+ Familiarity with age-appropriate patient care
**Schedule:**
+ Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
+ No weekends or holidays
+ Scrubs provided
**Work Location:**
+ 9110 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77055
+ Occasional floating may be required, though not within the same shift
