Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the surgical room is prepared and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to successful surgical outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the surgical room is clean for the start of the day, including wiping down the room with alcohol.Check for cleanliness throughout the day of all equipment and furniture.Assemble, maintain, and protect the sterile field.Maintain the sterile field by opening and setting up cases in a timely manner while adhering to aseptic and sterile techniques.Conduct sponge, needle, and instrument count with another team member when applicable.Essential SkillsProficiency in scope processing, decontamination, and sterilization.Strong understanding of aseptic techniques.Experience in neurology, orthopedics, and robotics.Ability to scrub a variety of standard surgical care lines.Capability to scrub robotic procedures.Willingness and ability to be 'on call'.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required.Certified Surgical Tech (CST) preferred, but not required.Minimum of 1 year of experience scrubbing a variety of standard surgical care lines, including Robot, Ortho, and Neuro.Work Environment
The position follows a day shift schedule of 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, four days a week, with one set day off. The role includes being 'on call' one weeknight per week from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, and one weekend per month from Friday evening to Monday morning. On-call duties are compensated at 1.5x the regular rate, with a standby rate of $9.00 per hour.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
