coverages ndash movie tickets pet insurance travel and moreJOB SUMMARYResponsible for scheduling hospital based proceduressurgeries in accordance with physicianrsquos orders and insurance requirements ensuring all necessary paperwork and required tests needed prior to surgery are accurately completed and clearly communicated pre and post surgery instructions to patients Ensures reconciliation of all dropped charges to ensure they match authorized procedures and escalate to appropriate parties if necessary Responsible for maintaining and managing resources including insurance portal access and provides consistent documentation in EPIC to support the obtained insurance authorization Communicates changes in payer and or federal regulatory guidelines to their manager pharmacy staff providers
