Description
Summary
Performs direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac/Vascular Lab. Assists all staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Utilizing specialized equipment to perform a variety of invasive, surgical and diagnostic procedures. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient and physician usage. Maintains inventory levels in department. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
Minimum Experience
• Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
• Minimum one year recent experience in OR materials management and/or SPD in an acute care hospital. Basic knowledge of AORN standards.
• Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
• SPD or ORT certification.
Licenses, Certifications
• General Radiographer certification, State of Florida (HRS)
• Current ARRT License
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
