Surgical PA/NP - Robotics

**Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic surgery and will work collaboratively with our Urological, Urogynecologic and gynecologic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and obtain patient history and physicals.
- Review imaging, labs, and patient status to assist the team in surgical planning
- Position the patient and ensure appropriate padding, safety, and access for robotic docking.
- Assist with prepping and draping the patient in a sterile fashion
- Assist surgeon throughout the procedure
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.
Preferred Skills:
2 years of experience with Robotics surgery recommended
Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
