Come build your career with us! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Manager of Business Services, Surgical Services is responsible for the Scheduling and Analytics of Surgical Services. The Manager of Business Services oversees Scheduling for OR, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, and Labor and Delivery. The Manager of Business Services has full responsibility for the billing cycle/function of Ambulatory Care, PACU, OR, and Endoscopy departments. Manages unit/units business operations including but not limited to scheduling, analytics, reporting, and revenue cycle. + You will work autonomously, set priorities, and make independent decisions of a complex nature + You will interface directly with public, physicians, staff, patients, administration, and ancillary support department representatives + will have effective interpersonal and communication skills + You will oversee the business operations of departments in accordance with hospital and nursing department philosophy, policies, procedures, protocols, and standards + You will formulate statistical data and provides information and written reports + You will provide support to Administrative Director of Perioperative Services as designated or in their absence + You will assure that department supplies, medications, materials, and equipment are updated in Meditech as needed, and charged in a timely manner + will be responsible for entire Revenue Cycle for Surgical Services + You will be responsible for all facets of scheduling for OR, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, Anesthesia, and several Radiology departments + You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all clinical documentation in Surgical Services + You will plan, train, implement Meditech upgrades for SCH modules and NPR report writing **What qualifications you will need:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management or related field + LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES: Required: None + Preferred: Previous experience in clinical nursing; ACLS certification as per SDH policy St. David's Surgical Hospital (https://www.stdavids.com/locations/st-davids-surgical-hospital) , part of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center (https://www.stdavids.com/locations/st-davids-north-austin-medical-center) , is a specialty hospital focused on surgery.
