Job Summary and Responsibilities

Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional ready to be the backbone of our Orthopedic clinic? Join us as a Surgery Scheduler!

You'll meticulously plan and seamlessly execute all inpatient and outpatient procedures, tests, and studies, providing essential support and communication to patients and physicians.

You will:

Schedule & Coordinate: Maintain the surgery schedule, coordinate patient appointments, and facilitate registration.Patient & Insurance Liaison: Conduct patient pre-certification for insurance approval and communicate detailed pre-op, arrival, and departure instructions.Pre-Operative Perfection: Ensure all required pre-operative tests are scheduled and completed.Resource Coordination: Confirm necessary equipment and rooms are arranged, and pre-surgery medications are ordered.Problem Solver: Screen calls, manage date changes/cancellations, and escalate non-routine issues.Schedule any necessary follow-up appointments.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
