Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Surgery Scheduler to join our fast-paced clinical team. In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate surgical procedures across multiple facilities, ensuring every detail—from insurance authorization to patient communication—is handled with precision and care. Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule surgeries across various locations with accuracy and efficiencyCommunicate with patients to provide procedure details, pre-op instructions, and required documentationVerify insurance coverage and secure authorizations for scheduled proceduresCoordinate with physicians, surgical teams, and insurance providers to confirm availabilityMaintain surgical calendars, provider templates, and track pending cases, cancellations, and reschedulesPrepare and distribute surgical packets, ensuring all pre-op requirements are metHandle administrative tasks including faxing, scanning, filing, and data entryCollaborate with front office staff, medical assistants, and clinical providers to ensure seamless workflowWhat You BringStrong grasp of surgical scheduling workflows and medical terminologyExperience with EMR systems (Athena or similar platforms preferred)Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skillsPrior experience in surgery scheduling or medical office coordinationKnowledge of insurance verification and authorization processesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented settingWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
