Job Summary:

The Surety Account Manager will assist customers in identifying and providing for their bond needs; working directly with the client and carrier representatives in handling the execution and billing of bonds for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Interact with clients in responding to their bond specific needs, i.e., contract documents, bond forms, rating and billing questions, etc.

Interact with surety company representatives in handling transactional related information/issues in the administration of the bond programs of our clients, i.e., premium billings, rating issues, contract documents, bond forms, bid results, etc.

Prepare client-specific documents i.e. Prequalification Letters, Affidavits, Bond Authentication Form

Process billing transactions for Accounting Department.

Work within the agency management system’s electronic file management specific to our surety clients.  SuretyWave and Applied Epic

Continue to pursue professional development as applicable

Requirements:

Insurance license for NJ or ability to obtain one upon hire

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Strong organizational skills and ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment

Strong commitment to customer service

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma

3-5 years of surety experience; brokerage experience is a plus

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $70,000 - $95,000
