As the Supervisor of Regulatory Compliance, you will be leading a team responsible for obtaining governmental permits relating to the drilling, completion, operations, production, facilitating the NEPA process. and various operations of the company. You will supervise the regulatory compliance functions, which include gathering, analyzing, and reporting of various data as required by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Your team will oversee post drill coordination of site and document inspections for state and federal regulatory authorities. You will be responsible for providing leadership on regulatory compliance matters.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
+ Leads a team to produce timely and accurate Federal and State regulatory permits related to Wyoming drilling, completion, workover and remediation projects
+ Partners closely with Land, Drilling and Production teams to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts, as well as providing status updates to cross functional team
+ Collaborates regularly with regulatory agencies, including the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC), on the status and accuracy of permits
+ Coordinates surveys and contractors to facilitate development progress
+ Remains engaged on regulatory changes and effectively communicates the impacts of these changes and any new requirements to the business
+ Assists in the investigation and resolution of regulatory issues in conjunction with field personnel, environmental, health & safety teams (EH&S), and external agencies
Education/Years of Experience:
+ Required: Bachelor's degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; minimum of six (6) years in the energy industry
+ Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory areas with three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience
Other Requirements:
+ Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the top priority
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
+ Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations—particularly Wyoming—and the ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory guidance to upstream oil and gas operations
+ Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret detailed drilling reports and industry-specific terminology
+ Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, with strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across regulatory agencies and all levels of staff and management
+ Solid understanding of upstream accounting procedures and policies, especially those related to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
