Northern Light Acadia Hospital Department: Integrated Behav Hlth Clinic Position is located: Acadia Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40.00 Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM ** SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES ** Summary: The Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinical Supervisor is a licensed master level clinician (LCSW preferred) with 5 or more years of experience providing psychotherapy with clinical supervisory experience preferred. The IBH Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical aspects of patient care, psychotherapy and overall development of the IBH LCSW/LCPC team. The IBH Clinical Supervisor provides individual and group clinical supervision to the IBH LCPC’s and LCSW’s. The IBH Clinical Supervisor reports to the Director of the Integrated Behavioral Health and will work with the Director of I BH to ensure clinical standards and integrity remain consistent across all program locations and staff. The IBH Clinical Supervisor will assist with the on-going clinical training needs of staff in this program. The IBH clinical supervisor will perform scheduled documentation audits of all therapists within the IBH program, annual performance evaluations and onboard newly hired therapists. The IBH Clinical supervisor will participate in other department initiatives as they arise to support the overall success of the IBH Department. This is a virtual position that includes both direct patient care in an integrated practice and clinical supervisor duties. Additional management/leadership duties will be performed as assigned. Responsibilities: • Understands, and adheres to clinical policies and completes yearly updates in MOAB, I Care, and CPR training. • Performs individual and group supervision on analyzing case problems and in improving their case management and helping skills; documents supervision as appropriate. • Assists Behavioral Health Coordinators in emergencies, and when case consultation is needed and planned with specific cases. • Assists internal and external community providers in understanding Acadia’s Behavioral Health Home Program and assists in generating new referrals for this service. • Displays capacity to lead others through active participation in development-based committees and peer supervision sessions. • Provides clinical regular clinical supervision to Supervises all assigned staff, developing new Behavioral Health Coordinators in their assessment, intervention and systems abilities while to maintain a high level of clinical skill. • Clinical practice reflects advanced clinical knowledge and skills, and is consistent with the mission and philosophies of Acadia Hospital/Healthcare and license. • Reviews case records and evaluates performance of staff; recommends document correction plans. • Audits charts weekly and performs random audits monthly to provide feedback and training to Behavioral Health Coordinators as assigned. • Consistently complies with the policies and procedures as set forth in the Clinical Policy and Procedure Manual. • Maintains and abides by ethical standards set forth by the facility and state licensure. • Has a comprehensive understanding of service priorities, costs and quality parameters consistent with the goals of the patient and the behavioral health home. • Assist in maintaining a work environment free from recognized hazards that create a risk or injury to employees, patients or visitors and that all accidents and incidents are reported by employees and properly investigated. When appropriate, assist with the return of all workers with work related injuries and illnesses to gainful employment.
