Job Title: Supv. Materials ManagementDepartment: Materials Management Location: Rochester General Hospital Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30AM - 3:30PM SUMMARY:Coordinates Inventory replenishment and management for multiple inventory locations. Provides back up leadership to department Manager as needed. Assists with inventory projects and Materials Management Information System as requested.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintains appropriate inventory levels across all inventory locations, including RGHS and affiliates, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
+ Oversees the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), including control of receipts, issues, on-hand quantities, and supports updates in coordination with the MMIS administrator.
+ Manages communications with vendors regarding deliveries, pricing discrepancies, and product issues, including returns, damages, and recalls.
+ Ensures accurate receiving processes for multiple inventory locations, monitors computerized reports for min/max levels, and performs regular audits.
+ with departments for material charges, archives requisitions, and supports physical inventory processes for Central Stores, Print Shop, SPC, and Linen.
+ Serves as a departmental resource, maintaining open communication with hospital departments, attending team meetings, and keeping leadership informed.
+ Provides on-call support a minimum of 26 weekends and 3 holidays per year, and assists with leadership coverage for Central Stores, Linen, and Messenger services as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Associates degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or equivalent combination of education or experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Detail oriented with the ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
+ Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership/supervisory experience is preferred.
+ Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience with supply process and distribution of materials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
