Support Technician

Salary Range: $25.81 — $35.60
Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
The Support Technician reports to the Director of Information Systems. Responsible for providing front-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and system issues. The Support Technician ensures timely resolution of IT service requests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Works well under stress or tight deadlines and provides excellent communication to ensure a positive user experience.

Position Duties/Responsibilities :
+ Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
+ Respond to and resolve service requests in a timely manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
+ Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
+ Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including setting up user accounts and permissions.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
+ Provide guidance and training to end-users on technology use and best practices.
+ Collaborate with IT staff to ensure seamless operations and effective issue resolution.
Position Qualifications :
+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree in IT or related field (preferred).
+ Experience: 1+ years of experience in IT support or related role.
+ Certifications: CompTIA A+ or similar (required).
+ Skills/Ability:
+ Strong technical skills in managing healthcare applications.
+ Ability to lead a team and manage projects effectively.
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
