Job Summary Hybrid position Support Services Specialist Role Overview: The Support Services Specialist manages the daily operations of the Mail Center, ensuring efficient handling and distribution of mail and electronic correspondence. This role also provides essential administrative support for remote team members within Revenue Cycle Services, supporting both acute and ambulatory settings. Key Responsibilities: + Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and promptly. + Scan relevant documents for electronic record-keeping. + Disperse electronic correspondence as needed. + Manage and process returned mail to ensure proper follow-up. + Provide administrative support to work-from-home team members, facilitating smooth remote operations. + Support Revenue Cycle Services across both acute and ambulatory care environments. Qualifications + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. + Experience: 2 years Healthcare or related field, preferred. + Licensure/Certification: + Additional Skills (required): + Excellent oral and written communication skills, critical thinking and multi-tasking ability, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks, ability to analyze, investigate and resolved issues. + Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately. + Ability to sit for extended periods of time. + Must be able to bend, stoop and move around. + Normal or corrected visual acuity and hearing. + Must be able to lift 25 pounds. + Must be able to work independently, present problems with solutions and consistently is able to meet deadlines. + Must be efficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to operate a Windows based personal computer. + Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, maintain department and patient confidentiality, interact with all cultures and level of authority. + Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. + Additional Skills (preferred): Motivation and Adaptability, Basic medical terminology.
