Labcorp is seeking a Support Service Team Lead to join our team at 1011 North Craycroft Suite 201 in Tucson, AZ 85711
Work Schedule Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm. overtime and rotating weekends may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist logistics supervisor with day-to-day operations and special projectsCoordinate and assign work to the logistics team to ensure proper coverageEnsure all drivers are prepared for their shifts with the necessary suppliesWork with dispatcher to provide alternate routes when neededResearch, troubleshoot and follow up on internal and external customer inquiries and issuesTrain new hires and provide on-going training and support to the teamGenerate and review daily/weekly reports and escalate any issues to leadershipUpdate routes in the database and reconcile route logs on a consistent basisEnsure all equipment and handheld electronic devices are working properlyServe as back-up driver when needed and perform dispatch duties as requiredPerform administrative and clerical duties as neededMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:
Current or Prior Labcorp experience2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience, ideally within a medical or laboratory company.1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications2 or more years of logistics managerial or supervisory or team leader experience
Additional Job Standards:
Valid Driver's License and good driving recordBe at least 21 years oldPunctual with strong time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCustomer service experienceAbility to problem solve customer issuesAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexibility to work overtime as neededStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently and in a team
