Support Operations Geology Personnel & Cadets
Position: Operations Support (Personnel & Cadets)
Location: Pau, France
Duration: 12-month contract

We are looking for a highly organised, administratively strong and people-oriented candidate with an understanding of operations ideally in Oil and Gas, training logistics and international coordination.
This person will act as a key interface between training, HR, operations, and international subsidiaries, ensuring both cadet programs and operational deployments run smoothly and in compliance with HSE and certification requirements.

Background & Experience: Education: Degree in Geosciences, Engineering, Logistics, or Business Administration. Experience in the oil & gas or energy sector is a strong plus. Experience: Proven administrative or coordination experience (ideally 3–5+ years). Exposure to training coordination, rotational personnel logistics, or HR operations in technical environments. Experience interfacing with international teams and navigating multicultural environments. Skills & Competencies: Excellent organizational and project management skills — capable of juggling multiple training programs, personnel deployments, and deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills — able to liaise with cadets, operations staff, managers, service providers, and subsidiaries worldwide. Detail-oriented and reliable — keeping certifications, records, mission schedules, and compliance documents updated. Tech-savvy — confident using planning tools, document management systems, HR or procurement platforms (e.g., STAR, VMS), and Excel for tracking KPIs and costs. Knowledge of HSE requirements and competency tracking in the field of geology or subsurface operations is a plus. Soft Skills: Autonomous and proactive — takes ownership of programs and sees them through from planning to execution. Team player — works collaboratively across two different but complementary departments (SOCC and OPE). Flexible and adaptable — comfortable handling last-minute travel or visa issues, changing personnel needs, or scheduling conflicts. You will ensure the smooth running of the COP Cadet Cursus program (CCC) and the implementation of the SUBGEOL certification by the IFP Training. You will work daily with the Subsurface Operations Cadets & Certification Coordinator (SOCC service) and the Total Learning Solution team to ensure the logistics of these 2 processes.  Within WAI/OPE (OPErations - functional link), you will meet the needs of subsidiaries in operational personnel (Wellsite Geologists and Operations Geologists), these personnel can be either TotalEnergies or contracted. After identifying the needs of the subsidiaries with the Subsurface Managers worldwide and selecting candidates in collaboration with the Head of OPE Service and the Operations Geology Rotational Personnel Coordinator among the available personnel at the Headquarters, in the Subsidiaries or by calling on a Service Provider, you will coordinate the implementation of assignments.  HSE Impact:  You will ensure that the operational personnel sent to sites fully comply with the Company's HSE rules.
