Your opportunity
As a Support Officer – Seniors Communities, you will play a vital role by providing administrative, scheduling and customer service support within our Retirement Villages.
Reporting to the Support Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of care and services, while supporting our residents, their families, and internal retirement living teams.
This is a resident-facing role that requires strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and a heart for supporting older Australians in a respectful and compassionate way.
We are seeking someone who can work Monday to Friday on site from 10:00am – 6:00pm with flexibility to cover the morning shift 6am – 2pm.
With integrity and resilience, you will:
Administration and Information Management
Manage resident enquiries, onboarding, and documentation efficiently and accurately
Maintain up-to-date resident information using Anglicare’s CRM and associated systems
Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring timely response and follow-through on queries
Scheduling Support
Coordinate and update service schedules in accordance with organisational procedures with accuracy
Ensure scheduling changes are communicated promptly to all relevant parties
Support service delivery by maintaining accurate rosters and records
Stakeholder and Communication Support
Liaise with residents, families, internal care teams and external providers
Triaging incoming requests and directing them to the appropriate department
Ensure all interactions reflect a professional and empathetic approach aligned with Anglicare’s values
Assist in drafting communications to the stakeholders on ad-hoc basis
Continuous Improvement and Compliance
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and processes
Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), including timely scheduling and issue resolution
Maintain workplace safety and uphold WHS standards
What you’ll bring
Strong customer service skills with a resident-centred focus
Proven administrative experience in a busy or care-focused environment
Experience in Retirement Living (Preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
High attention to detail and data integrity
Proficiency in CRM platforms, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
Understanding of WHS and sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in administration, scheduling or business support
Experience in aged care, community services or similar environments (preferred)
Familiarity with rostering and care coordination systems
Ideally, you’ll bring your exceptional customer service and administrative skills with a desire to support older people with dignity and respect along with your ability to multitask with keen attention to detail.
