Support Associate III
Job Summary The Support Associate III reports to the Informatics Manager, and is responsible for Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archive and Communications System (PACS) system input within the New Hanover Health Network to include patient data, orders, scheduling, scanned documents, replicating image media, and handling all the film to be digitized or hung for diagnosis. The Support Associate III will work in conjunction with the Radiologists, Film File Coordinator, and functional area diagnostic and clinical area leads to ensure proper workflow in Network Radiology, update daily schedules when necessary, and assist internal hospital entities and external customers in person, or on the phone with any problem. Qualifications Additional Skills (required): Basic computer skills necessary. Telephone operation and filing experience required. Must possess relevant experience in clerical duties sufficient for independent functioning with minimal direction necessary. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Skills (preferred): Preference to candidate with knowledge of Epic Electronic Health Record and/or Radiant RIS application, Fuji PACS or other Radiology-based computer systems.
