Supply Planning Lead – Buy Models/Special Projects
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Supply Planning Lead (Buy Models/Special Projects) to join an enterprise retail company hybrid in Vancouver 2-3x a week onsite. The Supply Planning Lead will be responsible for creating, managing, coordinating, and communicating the supply plan for allocated areas of responsibility. The Supply Planning Lead will ensure supply is balanced in the optimal way to meet demand forecast by considering capacity, lead time, and raw material availability for their area or responsibility supported by the supply planning team. This role will support relationships with cross functional partners – Merch, Planners, Souring, LLO and will own special projects across various product classes. This role is responsible for creating and ensuring plans are communicated in a timely and accurate manner highlighting risk and opportunity. Skills and Requirements - 5 years experience in Supply Planning in a role such as: Product Management, Program Management, Go-To-Market (GTM) Calendar Management, Project Management, Merchandising, Production Planning, Factory Planning or Production, and/or Project Planning - Highly proficient in Excel - Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail - Experience with lead times, capacity planning, and Tier 1/ Tier 2 - Able to effectively articulate strategic recommendations and influence the decision-making process at various levels of the organization - Experience collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared goals - Self-starter - You are confident in your strengths, always open to challenges and live with integrity - Footwear / Apparel industry knowledge - Supply Planning specific experience - Previous experience in MRP and/or ERP planning systems (ex.
