The Supply and Inventory Specialist supports the fulfilment of customers order within APAC region ensuring an appropriate stock level in the region and a high stock availability for new orders, following the business area and corporate strategy. The scope can cover all channels (OE/RE) and the business units PLT, TT, CST based on the task distribution within the team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Definition and tracking of inventory levels in APAC locations
- Maintain the stock targets for APAC markets following managements guidelines, markets inputs and ensuring alignment with APAC inventory targets and plants load.
- Follow up on local actions to improve the inventory structure (DOT, Slow movers, blocked stock, excess stocks)
- Coordinate the process for excess stock identification and clearance
- Coordinate the process for low volumes articles (production go/no go).
- Ensure availability for articles along the supply chain
- Support the allocation process in case of shortages or excess
- Tracking of quality blocks and reintroduction to limit impacts on inventory structure and availability
- Handle reporting, look for drivers and context to support business steering.
- Strive for synergies between channels (RE/OE) and product groups (PLT/TT/CST)
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering or Masters Degree / Specialisation Supply Chain Management
- Graduated with a first experience in supply chain environment preferably in a multinational company
- English fluent
- MS Office knowledge (expert in Excel, good knowledge of PowerBI).
- Good communication, team player, strong ownership
